The Importance of Popularity Rating in Cafe World

Every time you prepare a dish in Cafe World, your main objective should be to make the customers who purchase it satisfied and happy. This is how you can keep your Cafe ratings high. Higher buzz ratings mean more customers, more experience points, and more cafe coins to spend. You should know how to maintain your high buzz ratings to reap these rewards as you go play Cafe World and level up.

All you do in your cafe should be focused on customer service and customer happiness. For you to make that easily, there are different things and tips to take note of for your cafe as you play and go forward.

Prioritize Service

The objective of Cafe World is to cook dishes and serve them to your customers. If you do not exert effort to do this, you are just wasting your time. You should not spend too much coins and time on decorating your cafe. Only make minor changes to your cafe if it is required to get more customers coming to your cafe - besides that, just pass up and save your coins. The new tables and decorations may look really enticing but if it will cause your rating score to go down by five points, it is no good.

Increasing your Buzz Rating

The number of thumbs up you receive, also known as buzz rating, can be seen on the top right corner of your Cafe World screen. It is a significantly important factor to any restaurant. If that number goes down, it means that your customers are not happy with your service. If it goes up, then everything is in place and you have done something right. There are times that your buzz rating goes up as you increase your level - do not worry about this. You just have to make sure that your rating will never go down without any reason at all. Keep your buzz rating going up as you level up throughout the game. This will help you increase your coins and experience points.

Serving Food

You want to make sure that your customers will get their food as soon as possible. This is why you have to ensure that your cafe is ready for the customers by the time you have logged on to the game. If you have cooked a dish that takes twelve hours to be ready, go on line within thirteen hours so that you can remove the food from the stove and serve these hot off the stove dishes to your hungry customers. Moreover, you should increase the speed of your serving time. Try putting serving tables next to your customers’ tables and employ as much servers as possible. The better your serving process is, the happier your customers will be with the kind of customer service you are giving them.

The main goal of Cafe World is to make and keep your customers happy. If you are able to do that, you are sure to succeed in creating a successful cafe that anybody would love to visit. Make sure that you have fun while you play.

How To Set Up Your Own Internet Cafe - Part 1

Did you think putting up an Internet Cafe was difficult? Well, here are my personal tips on doing so.

Firstly, Location. It is imperative that you decide on a strategic location for your Internet Cafe. I recommend an area where a sizable crowd pass by on a regular basis; close to a school or a heavily populated residential area is best. As a pro gamer, I would like to find my preferred cafe close to a school exit so finding it will be easy. Placing it close to some eateries or “carinderia” is helpful (discard this if you plan to serve “real” food to your clients, see bottom for further details). Most pro gamers would want to eat at a place just outside or near their Internet Cafe.

Next, make up your mind as to how many computers you want. My guess would be around 15-20 for beginners. You might also want to put in fewer weighing in your cafe’s space and starting capital. More personal computers may translate to higher income; which can be assured if are the only caf? owner in a residential/commercial area for a few blocks.

Computer Specifications. Being a gamer myself, I would like to play without the annoyances of lag or slow start up. Every second matters when you play MMORPG’s, especially during guild wars or other vital regular events. I would recommend on going for the most recent specs, to give you an advantage on other internet cafes. High-quality specifications allow you a bit of breathing phase before you would need the next upgrade. Owning a technology receptive business means that in the succeeding months, a brand new hardware would be released to make yours the not-so-new in the line. So, investing on those well performing hardware are really a gain.

On the other hand, if you intend on renting your computers to a market made up of students who only want to type their projects, work on the internet, and the like, you can go for basic hardware.

Please remember that the key in this sort of business is decent service. You must have your clients keep returning for more. Maintain your computers by keeping them up to date with first-class computer specs. At present, having a dual core processor is ideal. Along with respectable RAM (1Gb to 2Gb is best), and a high performance video card of 256Mb-512Mb will make a good rentable computer. You could do without an optical drive and a floppy disc drive (which already appear to be outdated with the launching of USB mass storage devices). You can have a CD/DVD writer combo on the server so CD’s can be regulated and monitored before they are used. In addition, you can also add cd/dvd-burning to your list of services.

Next in line are good cafe softwares. You can choose free cafe management software like HandyCafe. They permit the administrator to take control of the internet cafe via functions only available to the server. You can limit the rental time for each client and regulate the bandwidth when heavy downloading affects the entire network. Cafe management softwares often have billing functions that automatically calculate what you should charge your customers. This is a nice feature to use particularly if you want to manage the cafe by yourself.

Food. Most gamers spend less time eating whenever they go online. It is difficult to break the concentration of a playing pro gamer. However, they are people, and people do eat. Whenever they feel the urge to revitalize, you can offer them quick preparation food like instant noodles. But, if you wish to enhance your Internet Caf?’s income scheme, you can offer “real” food to your customers. This would mean that they won’t have to go look for a restaurant and leave your cafe, thus remain in it while on their favorite games.

Comfortable chairs. I, for one, spend most of my time in from of my laptop or PC. I want to feel snug and comfy in my seat. Long hours in an uncomfortable chair can be exhausting. Consequently, I believe it vital that next to good service, customer comfort ought to be taken into account.

Games and Wordprocessors. After you have everything ready, you can ask your technician, or if you are capable yourself, install all the games and word processing applications on the computers. You opt for OpenOffice applications in place of Microsoft Office if you have a strict budget. Purchasing the licenses for these applications can be very pricey, particularly their operating systems.

I hope you find my guide to putting up your own Internet Cafe useful.

Cafe World Hints

Cafe world has become one of the most successful apps ever released on Facebook. Within it’s first week it attracted over 10 million players, and that number continues to grow. I’ve been playing for a couple of months now, and it has become obvious to me why this game is so addictive. Many of the online games that are available these days are overly complicated and take quite a long time to get the hang of. However, with Cafe World it is really easy to get a handle on the basics of gameplay and start enjoying your self.

That said there are some parts of the game that are extremely frustrating and can cause people to lose interest, it is because of these parts that many people start scouring the internet for cafe world hints to rapidly boost their points or cafe cash! If you have been looking for cheats you will know that there are several complicated and dodgy hacks that can be carried out to help you advance, however, these are not guaranteed and quite often Zynga (the game creator) will find a way to close the hacks before you log in again tomorrow, I do not recommend that you try to use any of these.

The hacks also require you to download software which can be dangerous for your PC. If you want my advice steer clear of any hacks, and instead follow some simple rules.

1 - Play the game regularly, the more you play the game the better you will become at it, and you will learn how to earn cafe cash faster.

2 - Cook a variety of food, I know it might be easier to cook thousands of burgers a day, but this is not always the best way to increase your points, as your customers will be come disinterested and not sit down. Try cooking roasts, desserts, and any seasonal food that comes along.

3 - Always make sure you have enough tables for your customers, if they cannot sit down you will lose buzz points.

4 - Ensure that the waiters have access to every table, if a table is blocked by a chair or a counter the waiter cannot serve food and the customer can’t eat.

These are fairly basic rules that should be followed to ensure that your cafe is ticking along nicely. If you can increase your thumb points then you will get more customers coming to your restaurant and you will earn more cafe coins.

Sell Your Public Domain Prints on Cafe Press

Out of copyright prints are in high demand especially if mounted ready to frame. Some subjects are more popular than others, notably dogs and cats, sporting subjects especially golf and cricket, topographical (named place) subjects.

I’ve seen really high prices paid for well illustrated items on eBay and also on some outside web sites.

But there’s something I discovered just recently that’s even more amazing than selling your prints on eBay and it’s somewhere you can have hundreds of different products created for you from your original or reprinted illustrations. It’s called Caf? Press. You start by uploading your illustrations to your own free shop at cafepress.com and have the company create hundreds of different items for you to sell and for other Caf? Press members to sell on commission.

It’s the closest thing to the perfect dropshipping model you are ever likely to find and it lets you list hundreds or thousands of Caf? Press items on your own site, on eBay if you like, and have the company deliver on dropship directly to your customers. Go take a look, you’ll see what I mean.

* So Many Things Caf? Press Can Create From Your Vintage Prints

Here are just a few:

T-Shirts ….. Hats ….. Bags … Prints ….. Stationery ….. Stickers ….. Buttons ….. Books ….. CDs ….. Bathroom Tiles ….. Bags ….. Tote Bags ….. Mugs ….. Glasses ….. Table Mats ….. Decorative Accessories ….. Wall Plates ….. Wall Calendars ….. Mouse Mats ….. Dog Coats ….. Dog Blankets ….. Dog T-shirts ….. Greetings Cards ….. Coasters ….. Bed Throws ….. Magnets ….. Golf Shirts ….. Hoodies ….. Babies’ Body Suits & Pyjamas

* Neat Idea

Consider having products made at Caf? Press to suit a specific niche market on eBay, such as Freemasonry, Scuba Diving, Topographical Views, etc. Pack your eBay shop with different items and lots of different views.

You can also sell your Caf? Press products on eBay and have Caf? Press fulfil orders directly to your customers. It costs so little to keep an item in your eBay shop for the entire month but shop listed items are less easily found by potential buyers than auction listed items. Overcome this by having one or two items listed at auction and use them to attract visitors to your shop to acquire your products ‘Buy It Now’ and also to generate hectic bidding that might even find your products fetching really high prices with lots of Second Chance Offer potential.

* Caf? Press will even create bound books from your text which can also come from the public domain.

French Cafe Chair vs French Bistro Chair - Vive La Difference!

Even if you’ve never been to Paris, you’ve probably seen them in movies or magazines: those colorful little French caf? chairs and tables that have been the hallmark of the Parisian cafe for over a hundred years.

And you’re probably aware of the part they played in the history and culture of the last century, when the likes of Hemingway and Sartre, Fitzgerald and Picasso sat in these very chairs at these very tables, defining the art and literature and philosophy of the Twentieth Century.

Serious stuff.

But there was a lot more going on in Paris a century ago than just philosophical discussion.

A lot more. And a lot wilder!

And it was happening right there amid the chairs and tables of the French bistro!

Oh, to be sure, to the untrained eye (or mind), caf? chairs and tables certainly look exactly like bistro chairs and tables.

However, French caf? chairs and tables signify coffee, croissants and philosophical debate; French bistro chairs and tables are more about wine, music and romance. That magical La Vie En Rose.

For rather like werewolves of French furniture, the cerebral caf? chair is transformed into the exotic bistro chair when the Parisian sun goes down.

And the names that come to mind are less Hemingway and Sartre, more Josephine Baker and Bricktop.

Which is not to say that never the twain shall meet.

For if Hemingway eschewed the bistro for the caf?, he apparently took a peek every now and then. He is purported to have said of Josephine Baker that he considered her to be “the most beautiful woman there is, there ever was, or ever will be.”

And Josephine Baker said, “I wasn’t *****. I simply didn’t have any clothes on.”

But she also said, “Surely the day will come when color means nothing more than the skin tone, when religion is seen uniquely as a way to speak one’s soul; when birth places have the weight of a throw of the dice and all men are born free, when understanding breeds love and brotherhood.”

Hmmmm. Could it be that the legendary Josephine Baker, toast of the Parisian bistro, was, at heart, actually a caf? philosopher?

Decorating Your Cafe Kitchen With Bar Stools

Often times, when you hear people talking about remodeling and decorating, the most talked about area of the home is the kitchen. People often redecorate their kitchen more than any other area of the home, which is understandable, simply because you spend a great deal of time in the kitchen. When it comes to decorating a kitchen, there are many themes you can choose, but one very popular theme is the cafe kitchen because it is unique and lighthearted.

When decorating your kitchen with the cafe kitchen theme, you will want to make sure you have the appropriate accessories. One great accessory for any theme are bar stools. Think about the cafes you have been too or seen pictures of, what do you most often see? You generally see bar stools around a relatively small table. When people think of bar stools, they typically picture the pub type, you know the ones, they are big, clunky, and extremely heavy. These really have no place in your kitchen, we can almost read your mind.

In your kitchen, if you are going with the cafe kitchen decorating theme, you want something airy and light. You could choose bar stools created with a style of wrought iron. Add some pizzazz to your kitchen with backing in a really fancy and fun design. If you want to go all out in your theme, match your table with your stools. Round tables are the perfect fit within the cafe kitchen decorating theme, you can choose an elegant glass top or a solid table top, the choice is yours.

Figuring out the type and style bar stools you want for your kitchen is the easy and fun part, now you get to start with the harder aspects of decorating, actually finding the bar stools. Finding stool is not the hard part, the hard part is finding something that matches your table or counters, as well as carry excellent quality that fits your budget. If you really want to make things easy on yourself, consider purchasing a set of table and stools together.

How many bar stools will you need for your kitchen? Well, lets find out. Get out a measuring tape and measure the table. Now, after measuring divide that number by 28, which is about the inches you will want from the middle of the first seat to the middle of the next seat. After dividing the number you come up with will be the average number of chairs that will fit well within your area.

Just when you thought the measuring was over, you will need to measure again. This time, you are looking to make sure you purchase bar stools that fit correctly under your table. To do this, go to the area in which your stools will be, under a counter or table. Measure the height from the floor to the bottom side. For comfort, it is necessary to have somewhere between ten and thirteen inches between the bottom of the area and the top of your stool.

It is important to understand your area, how much room you have, and what works best before purchasing. This will allow you to make the right choices the first time, instead of having to be stuck with something you cannot use or take it back for an exchange. After this, you will have the great opportunity of enjoying your cafe kitchen every single day.

Nibbley’s Cafe in Klamath Falls - Home of the Famous Oakcakes

Nibbley’s Cafe in Klamath Falls is home of the famous Oatcakes. Having tasted them for breakfast, we can see why they are famous. Debbie Caldwell and her staff do a phenomenal job.

When you walk into Nibbley’s, you are in a warm, friendly atmosphere. As you enter the dining area, you pass wonderful pastry cases filled with treats that are difficult to pass up. Walls are adorned with a collection of quilts that tell many stories which Debbie is happy to share. Debbie is quick to say, “Do what you love, love what you do and the money will follow.”

How difficult is it to order breakfast? In this case, it was incredibly difficult. There were so many choices, it was a challenge to select. Our group ordered a variety: Corn Beef Hash, homemade corn beef tossed with bell peppers, onions and country potatoes, served with two eggs and toast; Breakfast Burrito, bell peppers, onions, potatoes, sausage, bacon, ham and eggs scrambled inside a warm tortilla, jack and cheddar cheese and salsa on top with guacamole and sour cream; Mexican Scramble, corn tortilla strips, eggs, green chilies and onions scrambled with melted jack cheese, topped with sour cream and salsa and served with fruit; and of course, Nibbley’s Hearty Oatcakes with a touch of cinnamon. Norm had no idea of the size of the oakcakes and ordered three. Needless to say, he ate about half. I had mine as a side instead of toast with my Mexican Scramble that I was sharing with a friend. It was plenty and delicious. When I return, I’ll probably just have the oakcakes.

Our breakfast fare barely scratches the surface of what Nibbley’s has to offer on its menu. They feature items for the carb conscious, as well as tofu and just about anything you desire. Nibbley’s fresh baked oat bread, wheat bread, cinnamon rolls, muffins, and many other goodies are prepared fresh daily in its own kitchen. Prices are reasonable and the value is tremendous.

Debbie was nice enough to share a recipe for her Chocolate Mint Squares.

Chocolate Mint Squares (Brownies)

Brownie
2 cups margarine
8 ounces baking chocolate
8 eggs
1 tsp. peppermint extract
4 cups sugar
2 cups flour
2 cups chopped walnuts

Melt chocolate and margarine in microwave until melted, stirring occasionally.
Mix together eggs, extract and sugar.
Add flour then beat in melted chocolate mixture.
Fold in chopped nuts.
Divide mixture evenly, between two well greased non-handle baking pans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool.

Filling
2 cups margarine
4 teaspoons peppermint extract
12 cups powdered sugar
Milk to make easy to spread

Cream margarine and powdered sugar, add extract and enough milk to make spreading smooth and easy.
Spread evenly over brownie cake in the two pans.

Chocolate Glaze
4 tablespoons butter
4 ounces baking chocolate

Melt together in microwave, stirring until the mixture has a smooth consistency. Pour onto mint texture and tilt pan until chocolate is evenly spread.
Enough for two pans.

Chill thoroughly before cutting into squares. Nibbly’s are 4 x 5 but you can cut them any size. When cutting bars, dipping knife in hot water often works well.

If you’re in Klamath Falls (www.travelklamath.com), be sure to check out Nibbley’s at 2650 Washburn Way, #120, Klamath Falls, Oregon 97601, phone 541 883 2314. Nibbley’s is open from 6 to 11 Monday-Friday, 7-11 on Saturday and 8-2 on Sunday. By the way, its Oatcake mix is so popular, you can purchase and take it with you.
